Dear EMGS Officer,
My passport number is EL6363379, I saw my student visa renewal application is issued by the immigration department on 25th March. When can my institution get my passport, and when can I get it back? I would really appreciate it if your can help speed up the process, Thank you very much.

Kindly be informed that your student pass has been issue by the Immigration. As such, we will notify your institution once the passport is ready for collection.

Dear EMGS officer,
I really need my passport back, my apartment rental contract will end on 29th March, I will be homeless if I don’t get my passport back before that date. How am I able to book a hotel if I don’t have my passport? So I sincerely hope that my student visa renewal could be faster, Thanks a lot.

Hi,

Please be informed that the Immigration are in the midst of processing the student visa. The approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department. We will notify your institution once the passport is ready for collection.

Dear EMGS Officer,
My passport number is EL6363379, the progress of my student visa renewal has been sit at 80% since 11th March. I would really appreciate it if my application could be a little bit faster, because my current student visa will expire on 29th March. Thank you very much.

My passport number is EL6363379, It’s been 6 work days since I submitted my passport for visa renewal, and the progress is still 55%. Can I know if there is anything wrong with my application, please? Thanks.

Hi,

Kindly be informed that we received your passport on 1 March 2024 for the Student Pass endorsement process. The endorsement process takes approximately 14 working days. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department. We will notify your institution once the passport is ready for collection.
