I feel sorry for the trouble you have been to. Since you submitted the vdr application to the immigration department through your university, emgs is not in the loop. I cannot see it will he able to help you, unless in issues related to the ikad. I believe it is more feasible for you in this case to call emgs by phone. Their operators work at the weekend and can give you a preliminary answer whether they are involved or not.
