There is a grace period of 60 days to renew your student pass after expiry. You will have to enter into Malaysia with a visitor pass and then apply for renewal but must have documents to justify your delay.

U should renew your student pass before leaving Malaysia for holiday/student break. If your pass expiring while you are not in malaysia maybe uni will force cancel your student pass and u wil have to apply VAL again. Shawkat is right, there is a grace/cooling period of 60 months before u can apply val again. Pls cobtact yr uni international office im sure they try to contact u but to no avail?
