Dear EMGS Can we even expect actual, case-specific answers rather than the generic, prefabricated ones stating that the “Immigration Department is operating with minimal headcount?” I think we all are “understanding of” what the whole world (including the Malaysian immigration department) has been going through in the past 2 years. We would appreciate the same understanding from your part. The immigration department, our agents, the uni, everyone refers us to EMGS, and we get the same generic answer. Just like everyone else here, I have problems of my own. I got married 3 months ago and hoping that we would receive our VAL’s any moment. we cannot decide on shopping for anything but groceries, we are even half-packed since my docs were sent to the Immigration Department (who promised a window of 7-10 business days). We deserve real answers. Our lives depend on this. All we are asking here is how much longer we need to wait. There should be an estimate, at least.
