As we have mentioned before, applicants from Russia are required to obtain the SEV prior to their entry into Malaysia. The requirements for Social Visit are not the same as the requirements for Student Pass applications. Kindly confirm where on the link you provided it states that Russia does not require SEV. You can see on immigration website section Visa Requirement by Country and Russia not there. More detail information was deleted recently from their website. Also I sent my Enquiry to immigration from their feedback form but never got answer. I have been to Malaysia 7 times and never been asked of any visa, and a lot of my Russian friends visited…[Read more]

I want just to see both of the lists. As they are hidden now from users. And Russians don’t need SEV to visit Malaysia for 30 days. And all answers from EMGS to other students were if you are not from country which requires SEV go directly. And you said you saw it at immigration website? Could you tell which directory? Hello, on your website FAQ section 11. Single Entry Visa (SEV) Requirements item “c”. The links to the lists of 1). Non-Visa Required Countries and 2). But I apply for my student pass October,2. I got it approved October,25. And now I’m still waiting third month. I there wasn’t any updates on application history more than month, although immigration usually answered in couple working days. I want to know how I can contact immigration on this case by direct email. They do not have this inf…[Read more]

@liza There is no specific time-frame required to complete VAL amendment requests. The approval to amend the VAL is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department. Kindly note that the Immigration Department does not liaise with students directly. If you have any queries you can drop an email to enquiry(at)emgs.com.my.

Nope but you can wait for the emgs officer! But as far as if your VAL is approved by the immigration department and your intake date is on time for you! You can go to malaysia as you have don’t have to get a visa sticker on your passport as your country citizens are allowed to go to malaysia without a sticker visa issued by your country’s’ emb…[Read more]

Applicants from Russia are required to obtain the SEV prior to their entry into Malaysia. If you would like to obtain the SEV in Philipines, the VAL has to be amended. Based on our records, your institution submitted the VAL amendment request. The approval to amend the VAL is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.
