Hi Mazaya,
Applicants are required to remain in their home countries during the processing of their VAL applications. The applications will be rejected if the applicants enter Malaysia during the processing of the VAL applications.
Have a nice day.

@mazaya When you enter the country on a Social Visa, your details will be detected in the Immigration Department system when the application is submitted for VAL approval. Since you would have entered the country during the application process, your application will most likely be rejected by the Immigration Department.

The next step should be applying fro SEV and traveling to Malaysia. Other step will be done by internations student center of your university. Do report there when you reach your university. I hope this helped.

Hi Mansour,
Congratulations on the approval of your VAL application. Applicants from Syria are not required to apply for the SEV prior to their travel to Malaysia. As such, you can arrange for your travel to Malaysia. However, you are required to present the VAL at the point of entry.
Have a nice day.

I f you come from the country which requires the Single Entry Visa, you have to bring the VAL to the nearest Malaysian Embassy in order to get the Single Entry Visa. After that you can go to Malaysia.
If you come from the country which doesn’t require the Single Entry Visa then you can go to Malaysia and bring the VAL when you arrive there. -
Hi Mohamed Al Zaki,
Congratulations on the approval of your VAL application. Kindly note that applicants from Iraq do not require a Single Entry Visa (SEV) to enter Malaysia. As such, you can proceed to arrange for your travel to Malaysia.
Have a nice day.

An application will only reach 100% after the endorsement of the Student Pass. This process will be completed upon your arrival in Malaysia.

Wow, the progress is so fast

P.S.:- I am Indian amd currently in Italy.

Hi Ayman,
It is too soon to be submitting the application now, since your intake is February 2020. Kindly note that VAL applications can be submitted no more than 3 months before the applicant’s entry into Malaysia. We advise that you liaise with your institution.
Have a nice day.

I am thinking to apply for VAL during December. Will that be alright? P.S.:- I have already booked a flight to Malaysia for 27th of January.
-
@ayman_36 Applicants are not advised to book flight tickets prior to the issuance of the VAL by the Immigration Department.
-
I have booked a flight which is changeable free of charge. Is there any problem now too?
