For the existing student who applied renewal visa,its not 90% at all,to compeletion it will be reach to 50% (Emgs awaiting student passport) and in this percentage student can apply TA and et all.

I don’t think renewal application is mandatory for travel; the travel authorisation is. The only difference is that if a student opts to apply for renewal in Malaysia, then this means two things: 1. Aha! I never noticed it is 50. In my case it was 90 and even when arriving to the University, the first question the visa department asked me was “Is your progress percentage 90%?”

Not exactly. If your university takes the passport, sends it to emgs then emgs sends it to the immigration department then receives it with the sticker then sends it back to the university, it takes more time.
