Dear EMGS Officer,

Please kindly let me know why are you requesting again the marriage certificate documents from the institution? There is no issue with the marriage certificate name and the passport detail page name. Both are 100% similar. Then why are you requesting again the attestation documents. There are no errors with her name. Your prompt action regarding this matter is highly appreciated.

My passport number is N9783604
Wife’s passport number is N9783605

  Kindly be informed that as per checking, the dependent name in the marriage certificate does not tally with the information in the passport details page. Kindly note the dependent name in passport stated as NILMINI, however in the translated marriage certificate stated as NILIMINI. As such, the institute is required to provide an attestation letter from the applicant’s embassy pertaining to the discrepancy. Kindly refer to the institution for further assistance regarding this matter.
