Do one thing, Ask your university to show me proof that you really send everything to the EMGs, with that proof you can email to the EMGs directly and they will reply to you as soon as possible.
-
I have the same problem, university has already submitted payment proof & EMGS received it on 12 sept but from 5th sept my application stuck in 5%.
-
Same problem boss…i applied on Monday 10.09.19 .from the university i got mail and said ur payment proof’s been rejected by emgs.
-
Why has been rejected? What was the reason?
-
Ask the reason from your university.

HI Fyad,
If the status is at 0% it means your institution is yet to submit the application documents and payment. We advise that you liaise with your institution and request that they submit the application documents and payment. This will enable us to initiate the processing of your application.
Have a nice day.

How long did it take?
-
Hello Shaikhz, I was wondering, On what percentage did you get your Val? 75 or 100%? Bcs, some people said that val will be downloadable when it reaches 75%. Just wanna make sure bcs mine is still 35%
-
How long have u been waiting at 35
-
-
I’ve been waiting for about 26 normal days from 0 to 35%. Started from August 2nd to 28th. And it’s already 70% by today and the eVAL is downloadable as well.
-
So u e val in 2 days i mean from 35 to 70 it took 2 days
-
-
Yes it does
-
Hi Shaikhz,
Congratulations on the approval of your VAL application. We are glad to have been of assistance to you.

On what date did it reach 35%?
-
28th August
-
it would normally take 5-7 working days so maybe 4th-6th Sept. you can get ur eVal at 70% if im not mistaken. the process of getting to 100% will continue after u enter malaysia.
-
-
-
Hi Faizan,
The VAL approval process takes 7 working days. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department. Once the VAL has been approved, the status of your application will change to 70% or 80% (for students enrolled in public universities).
Have a nice day.

It should normally take 1-2 working days but there are 2 consecutive holidays, there is National day & there is Islamic new year so your work should resume on Monday hopefully!
-
Just asking that means by next week i may get val.???
-
actually I meant it will take 1-2 working days from 32% to 35% which means basically they’ll submit your application to immigration department from there you need additional 5-7 working days, so yes if everything goes smooth you might have your VAL by next Thursday.
-
Thank you for your advice.hope i will get my val by next week end

Hi John,
Once the application has been submitted to the Immigration Department, it will take 7-10 working days for the issuance of the VAL. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.
Have a nice day.

Hi M.Dhanunjayudu,
The percentage indicates that your application is ready to be submitted to the Immigration Department for their approval. However, at present, we are waiting for confirmation from the Immigration Department with regard to the VAL approval as new international students are not allowed entry into Malaysia until further notice.…[Read more]
