Hi EMGS I renewed my passport while waiting for schools decision on my PhD application. Decision came few days after expiration. I made my application with the new passport number, hence the difference in the number on my offer letter and international passport number. I want to know the effect on my eVAL application and the if such issue has been addressed before and how. Also note that the old passport number is clearly stated as Old Number on the new passport. Need feedback.

  Hi Jimi,
  
  You can either:
  1. Ask your institution to issue you with a new offer with the correct passport details, or
  2. Submit a copy of the old passport as well when submitting your application documents. The old passport will be used to support the discrepancy in the passport details.
  
  Kindly note that the application might be put on hold should we require additional documents with regard to the difference in passport details. We advise that you contact your institution for further details.
