Dear EMGS
What if I am in my own country and my visa has expired? I have submitted documents but haven’t submitted my passport yet. What should I do if I want to renew?

I need do my co-op during Nov-Dec, my visa expired at 2020.1.17. Yesterday i noticed that i had issue with my application. It said i cant renewal before 3 month my visa expired. We can only accept your Student Pass renewal if the current pass has a validity of 3 months or less. Kindly liaise with your institution directly for further assistance on your request for the early renewal.

You are required to wait until the travel ban is lifted, then you can submit the passport upon your arrival in Malaysia.
