Dear EMGS Team,
I am writing to respectfully follow up on the status of my Special Pass application and to kindly request confirmation on whether the Special Pass has been completed, as well as the latest record or update related to it.
Previously, I was informed that my student visa renewal application was under final verification. On 13 January, all required documents were fully submitted, including my original passport, through UCSI University, and due to my student visa having less than five working days of validity at that time, the complete Special Pass application documents were also submitted on the same day.
On 14 January, UCSI University confirmed that the online application had been completed and that the hardcopy documents, together with my passport, were officially submitted to EMGS. As of today, my passport and Special Pass documents have been with the relevant authorities for nearly one week, and I have not received any update specifically regarding the Special Pass.
As my student visa expired on 16 January, I would be most grateful if you could kindly confirm:
– Whether my Special Pass application has been approved or completed, and
– The latest status or record currently reflected in the EMGS system for my Special Pass.
This matter is extremely time-sensitive, as I have a confirmed international flight departing Kuala Lumpur on 23 January, and any uncertainty regarding my immigration status may affect my legal stay and travel arrangements.
Should there be any missing documents, additional requirements, or further action needed from my side or from the university, I would sincerely appreciate being informed immediately so that I may respond without delay.
