It depends. Usually more than a month for appeal cases. Wait for a month and if you don’t receive any update, I suggest you should talk talk to your University. Since uni is directly in contact with Immigration department they can request.

Email EMGS your photos. You can also send photos to university as they are directly in contact with immigration department too. For photos requirement, there is an online tool on EMGS site to check whether you photo meets Immigration requirements or not.

The reason for rejection was I had to submit all the passport pages and latest exit stamp. Now been in the immigration since 8th September… I was supposed to start September intake but had to defer to February. Now it\’s almost a month since my appeal forwarded to Immigration and still on 50%. Is there anyone who has been waiting for VAL at 50%?

now waiting for Decision of EMGS.

& when did you applied for Appeal for VAL?
My Appeal was Submitted to EMGS on 2nd Nov.
On 3rd Nov Status turn into Green.
Still Waiting For VAL.

I have name variation in my passport and degree. Does changing name on passport has any negative effect on application? It is an appeal case.

Is there anyone who dealt with name variation issue without changing name or passport documents? I mean, ways other than alternation in documents. Changing name is tedious way to go through. How I can make VAL officer believe that these certificates are mine?
