I hope you are doing well. I am an Afghani student in Malaysia and a resident of Saudi Arabia. I recently renewed my passport due to damage, but my current Malaysian visa is still in my old passport.

I would like to inquire about the possibility of transferring my Malaysian visa to my new passport at the Malaysian Embassy in Riyadh instead of doing it in Malaysia.

The reason I cannot transfer my visa in Malaysia directly is that my old passport is still linked to my immigration records in Saudi Arabia (Absher system), and I can only update it after entering Saudi Arabia. If I cancel my old passport in Malaysia before traveling, I may face difficulties entering Saudi Arabia.

Could you please provide information on:

Is it possible to transfer my Malaysian visa to my new passport at the Malaysian Embassy in Riyadh?
1. What documents are required for this process?
2. How long does the transfer process take?

If its not possible, could you please provide me with other solutions?
