Before entering the country, kindly ensure to prepared the original passport, your Visa Approval Letter (VAL) and a Single-Entry Visa (SEV) if you are from SEV required country.

Hi Mohammad Farhan,
“Approval Letter From Immigration Director General” refers to the Travel Authorization letter. However, the travel authorization letter is no longer required to enter Malaysia.

Hey, I’m also from Nigeria and going to USM for a Bsc… I would like to know if you got your Single Entry Visa, because I applied online and it’s taken 9working days and they haven’t sent an email yet. If you’ve gotten your SEV, how long did it take for it to be issued from the time of application.

All students who are eligible to enter Malaysia are strongly advised and encouraged to fill up the Pre-Entry Checklist at least 3 days prior to their departure

Yes. I corrected my document few times. I only wrote my identity and attached requested document without any explanation about the matter. It worked.

I had to send them a new photo and I replied to the same email and sent a copy to my institution. Next day they updated my progress.
