Hi, my university didn’t approve my travel authorization. As they said, the new SOP aanouncement on 23rd July stated that new student without student visa cannot enter Malaysia eventhough I have my eVAL with me and study online already for one semester. Have you ask your university if they can approve your travel authorization form?

Hi, sorry may I ask if you also have student visa stamp on the back of your pasport or you got your eVal but haven’t got the student visa stamp on your pasport?

No I don’t have a student pass. I’ve finished college in Malaysia last year, came back home in December then applied for university for March 2020 intake. First you need to enter with a SEV then apply for a student pass once you’re in Malaysia and have passed the medical screening.

Dear EMGS, is it true that the new sop now doesn’t allow students without student visa to enter malaysia eventhough they have VAL approved already?

Please be informed that we are in the midst of clarifying this with the relevant Government agencies. We will update institutions and students once we have received more information.
