If you completed your studies, you are required to cancel the current Student Pass and exit Malaysia.

But still my course not completed December only can finish so that time gap I’ll get my certificate also so my visa expired this November that’s a problem that’s why I’m asking can stay till December

@hashy If your visa expires before you complete your studies, then we advise that you liaise with your institution to renew the Student Pass.

Immigration should fix this broken rule, I had to apply for special pass to attend my graduation!
Five years spent in Malaysia and they didn’t want to give me the visa till I graduate.
Its like they are saying ‘ finish your degree and get out of Malaysia’ lol

I’m Hashim ,my visa expired coming November 6,but my course finish December last,so I just contact with my university but they said :this movement can’t give you special pass and nothing but you can stay until December 31 RMCO no problem.like that, so my question is can stay or not…?if I stay here want to face any consequence…? All foreigners residing in Malaysia are required to be holding valid visas during their stay in Malaysia. Staying in Malaysia without a visa is a breach of the Immigration Department regulations.
