Now your uni should go receive the VAL and send you the scanned copy
At the Airport they will give you the original one
And if your country required SEV for Malaysia u should start applying for that ASAP-

Yes they say that it will take about 1-2 days to get the hard vopy of my val. My country does not require sev.

It depends on your nationality. Whats your nationality. Some citizens can go into malaysia without visa

Right you have to apply visa online as for india there is electronic visa. Visit your nearest Malaysian embassy or mission or consulate

Unfortunately I am not a Nigerian. I was sent a scanned copy which is enough for me, as I dont require visa to enter Malaysia

Unless they make a mistake and cause you lots of delay.

Where are you from? Be careful that most Arab countries require SEV to enter as a student. This is different from entering for tourism purposes, only a few asian countries are exempted.

Visa (SEV) takes 3-4 days. VAL takes 14 working days if all is in order.

yeah well..contacted the Riyadh embassy yesterday, They sent me an email of their requirements. Now I’m on my way to the embassy itself.

What’s your status and the color? And of course there’s something wrong you have to check with your institution

I think you have to contact with your institution to see where’s the problem

When my process was slow i sent email to both my institution and emgs. The next day the status went up for real.

I’ve been in touch with my institution..They say that they are truing their best to push up with EMGS. Orientation was since the 28th..School started yesterday.

I got almost the same problem with UM but it was because my val got rejected so i missed the orientation day and they started yesterday but now it’s 50% not 15 so i think you have to contact with the EMGS and your institution again

Not vitally, although it’s an amazing place to get info about your courses, lecturers , university system, and meet new friends that are with you in the batch.. (usually those friends are the ones that last the longest tbh)
Other than that, you can catch up with all the info as soon as you reach and during your classes 🙂

Did you check your status using the website browser?? Sometimes the mobile app got problems and don’t show the real progress

my visa stuck on 15% also

7 days, last Thursday it turned yellow and today it turned back to green as I submitted the documents .. but still 15% 🙁

Mine when it was online. It took 13 days, from 0% to 70%. Some people took a month. But expect from 2-4 weeks

Mine took 2 working days to reach from no record to 0%. Currently I am at 15%.
