Hi emgs,

This is Hammad Sheikh with passport no AB5198745. My visa expires on 18th april, I wanted to ask can I enter malaysia on 14th april and submit my passport for renewal on 15th april? My institution has said they will have to apply for special pass. I wanted to ask if there won’t be any hurdles during the process with special pass and everything would be fine.

  Kindly be informed that during the passport submission for student visa endorsement, the institution needs to ensure there is 5 working day of valid pass. If the valid pass is less than 5 working day, EMGS unable to accept the passport submission and will request the institution to apply for a special pass. As such, kindly refer to the institution for further clarification regarding this matter.
