Dear EMGS
I received an update on my visa application, it went from 15% to 30% but the colour status changed to orange, it says that I am required to renew my passport at it is expiring in less than 18 months ( my passport expires on 13/01/2026). But the indian consulate will not allow me to renew my passport until I have a year left on my passport, meaning wiping renew it January 2025. Please can we get this cleared up and proceed with my application as I leave for kuala lampur very soon.
My passport number is V6623502

Point number 17 says I cannot renew my passport till I have 1 year validity left on my passport.
