According to the EMGS application history, my institution (Universiti Sains Malaysia) has already completed its part of the process, including approving my application on 3 July 2026.
However, my application progress has remained at 7%, and I recently received an email stating that my application status is “Documents Received (Pending Payment Verification)” with a “Payment shortpaid” issue.
The email also states that the amount received is RM 1,960.00, while the application fee is RM 1,945.49. Based on these figures, the amount received appears to be higher than the required application fee.
Could you kindly verify my payment status and clarify why the application has been marked as “Payment shortpaid”? Please also confirm whether any further action or payment is required from my side, or if this is a payment verification or system-related issue.
