ah yes i had to resend additional docs.0%-5%-10%-15% green: took a total of 4 days (10/08-14/08)
15% yellow-15% green: took only 2 working days but bc i submitted the extra docs late thus the big delay (16/08-27/08)
15% green-32%: 3 working days (27/08-30/08)
32%-35%: 2 working days (30/08-04/09)
35%-75%: 3 working days…[Read more]-

give it atleast another 2 working days. i believe max that it should take is 7 working days to vet & change the status.

UPM has already submitted payment proof to emgs for my VAL but unfortunately my app status stack in 5% . I don’t know, what to do?

if UPM has confirmed that they have sent the payment and ur status is stuck for awhile (pls count only working days) then you can email EMGS. enquiry(@)emgs.com.my or you can call them to ask.

Hi Elyssia, How exactly did you carter for pre-medical screening and accommodation? I need to know how I can settle down fast when I fly into Malaysia to enable me concentrate on my research work. Congrats once again.

if im not wrong, u dont have to do pre-medical screening, you would just have to fill up a health declaration form. its stated on the emgs website. only a post-medical checkup has to be done within 7 days of your arrival in Malaysia after receiving the VAL.

There is no specific time-frame required for the status to change from 95% to 100%. The application status will be updated once the passport is ready for collection.
