Dear EMGS Team,
My name is Elahe Esmaeili, passport number P61241869.
Since 7 May 2026, my application has been stuck at 30% (yellow status) due to the following issue:
“We regret to inform you that we are unable to proceed with this application as the Immigration Department of Malaysia system shows an active application linked to this passport number (Reference no: ). The institute is required to cancel the active pass and revert to EMGS with supporting documents showing that the earlier application has been cancelled.”
I waited until today because I believed this matter needed to be updated by the university, especially since I had already left Malaysia on 5 February 2026.
However, today I contacted the International Office of Taylor’s University, and they informed me that this issue appears to be caused by the Malaysian Immigration system not being updated properly and that it should be resolved and updated from the Immigration/EMGS side.
Considering the urgency of my situation, I kindly request your immediate assistance in resolving this issue. In order not to miss my semester intake, I need to receive my EVAL letter by 8 June 2026.
I would highly appreciate your urgent attention and support regarding my application.
