Dear EMGS,
I would like to ask for clarification regarding domestic travel within Malaysia while my passport is submitted for student visa renewal.

If my passport has been collected by EMGS/Immigration for visa processing, and I have an official letter from my university confirming that my passport is currently held for renewal, am I allowed to travel domestically by flight (from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Bharu) using this letter and my student ID?

I would appreciate your guidance on this matter.
