It took me 14 days from 50% to 100%.

According to a previous post here by EMGS the answer is: students with valid student pass are released from the TA requirement.

Please note that existing students with a valid student pass can enter Malaysia without the travel authorization letter. Kindly ensure that the student pass is valid at the point of entry.
