You dont need a new student pass, you just need renewal of student pass. I left last year dec with my visa expired on dec, and I renewed it in June. Just pay the fee, and submit a renewal of stduent pass. It won’t take much time coz the process isn’t really like obtaining the “val”, in around 10-15 you’ll get issued the visa, then get a letter from uni which on that you obtain a sev, and that’s it, you can finally FLY
For this your uni will provide you with an letter similar to eval and you can renew your pass but you need to go through university channels to do that properly.
The student with expired student pass after 1st February 2020 may proceed with the renewal application with the Institution and enter Malaysia using the social visit pass. However, the approval to issue the student pass is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.
In addition, you are required to complete the pre-entry checklist before travelling to Malaysia.

Ok. Thank you so much for this. But I don’t understand how I can obtain a letter from my uni. Will the letter be my Eval?
