Most of the time, yes… but it’s best to confirm with the Malaysian embassy needs you for all the documents needed ..

Ideally, 2-3 days

If you have paid online. Paying through through institution takes longer to process.

You need to check whether there is a comment in your profile of emgs

Try calling emgs helpline and check with them.

Did you pay through institution? Which one is that? Contact your institution and make sure they have forwarded payment to emgs. Email your payment slip to both emgs and your university visa section. Keep emailing them and hurrying your university up until your situation is resolved.

Don’t worry, I remember seeing an update here where a guy got his VAL in 3 days

I think you should contact EMGS and enquire about your val application status, they are quick in responding

Not really, I have sent many emails but not a single response. It’s frustrating actually.

Try to call EMGS or contact them via their facebook page, and try to contact your university as well. (in my case, EMGS responded to my emails after one or two days, maybe they will respond to your enquires soon)
