after arrival in Malaysia ur status will go to 70%.

But I haven’t got my VAL yet. It was said that EMGS was going to give a link for VAL to download (via email, if I’m not wrong) and this will be able when it reaches 70%. How can I even get 70% after arrival in Malaysia knowing that I would only get my VAL when I reach 70%?

I am going to apply for SEV on https://www.windowmalaysia.my .
You are not supposed to goto Embassy as they will not entertain your application. Also check out if your val is eligible for evisa.

The Student Pass endorsement process takes 14 working days. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department. We will notify your institution once the passport is ready for collection.
