Please be informed that we require a bank statement for Dependent Pass applications. Since you are unable to open a bank account in Malaysia, you can submit a bank statement from the account from your home country. The bank statement will only be accepted if it fulfills the following criteria:
a. Official bank statement (must be within 3 months from the date of issuance upon submission of the dependent application)
b. Must include the name of the account holder (this is applicable to either the principal applicant’s account or the dependent’s account)
c. Account currency type must be specified (e.g.USD, KWD, INR, MYR)
d. Must be an active account that shows the latest transactions
e. Signed and stamped by a bank official
Ok then,
I have a shared account in a syrian bank in USD currency. This account is been hold by me and my father (shared) to let my father take money and transfer them to me here. I opened this account in DEC 2019.
I want to make sure that this account is ok??
Also my wife has an account in syrian pound currency which was opened JAN 2020
Please answer me ASAP cause I am planning for my wife’s travel.
@bachir_1 We are unable to confirm if the shared account or your wife’s account will be accepted, as we can only verify documents once we have received the application.
