Could you please update us about the allowance of entry of the students from the specified 23 countries? And why is it that the students who are born and raised in some other country but are the passport holders from one of the 23 countries not allowed to enter ? @bibizainab Since you are transferring from a private to a public institution, you can be in Malaysia during the processing of the application. However, if the Immigration Department requests an exit stamp, you will be required to exit Malaysia.

The percentage indicates that your application was submitted to the Immigration Department for their approval. However, at present, the Immigration Department is not issuing VALs to international students outside Malaysia. The percentage indicates that your application was submitted to the Immigration Department for their approval. However, the Immigration Department is closed due to the movement control order (MCO). But Sir,I was asked to contact the emgs from where I had got my VAL. So what do I do now ?

@bibizainab We already processed your application and your VAL was approved using that same photo. As such, you are required to liaise with the eVisa issuing authorities. If you are unable to apply for eVisa, we recommend that you proceed to the Malaysian Embassy in your home country in order to apply for the SEV.

It will take minimum one month, my eval extension also in emgs from October 5
Then they will give us 15 days to enter malaysia?
It takes 2-3 weeks in Immigration normally
For Bangladeshi passport holders?

I also applied for eVal ext. since 15th September. still in progress. So many times have been emailed but only replied.. ‘Waiting’

Kindly note that there is no stipulated timeframe for VAL extension processing. The approval is solely at the discretion of Immigration Department
