Dear emgs.
My VAL expires during the locklown.
I would like to know when VAL would extended? Does this matter also fall under new student category because i got a VAL before lockdown started during feb, and i m also doing classes, i m in my second semester, so how m i a new student ? I will really appreciate your response . Thanks.

  Hi Anika,
  
  If you do not have Student Pass and are outside Malaysia, you are considered a new student. At the present moment, the Immigration Department is yet to confirm the process for students whose VALs expired during the travel ban. We will send out a bulletin once we have an update.
