Hello,
I have a valid student visa and I am currently outside of Malaysia. I have renewed my passport and my student Visa is on my old passport. Do I need to apply for a new Visa to be stamped on my new passport? Or my visa is still valid and I bring both my passports with me when I travel back to Malaysia .

Definitely you have to get a new passport! A new sticker will only be issued if you have a valid passport for at least 18 months.

You are required to enter Malaysia using your new passport. EMGS recommends that you bring along your old passport together when you travel to Malaysia.
