Dear Shaniu Shaheem,
Please be informed that the Student Pass endorsement process takes 14 working days from the date we submit the Passport to the Immigration Department. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department. We will notify the institution once your passport is ready to be collected.

Syrians don’t need an entry visa to enter Malaysia, you will get your visa on arrival, so go ahead and book your flight…Best of luck

I am from Syria and I am currently in Cambodia but it was not mentioned in the eval that I should take the sev from Cambodia!!
The eval is only one page. -
You mean that I can get the student visa when getting arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport without having an sev?

Is it possible to convert the visa on arrival (touristic visa) to student visa in Malaysia? Because I have already been in Malaysia when I applied for student visa and they asked me to exit Malaysia and enter again?

Hi, i have applied for my VAL but my application is stuck at 15 requesting for additional documents and i sent the documents to my university and they confirmed to me that they forwarded them to EMGS and the date that my case opened changed from 25 to 28 wich is yesterday which shows that there is still a problem and i have tried to…[Read more]-
Yeah it hard not knowing the current progress status but once you have sent the right additional documents as requested, you need to be patience to get EMGS approval and your application will be back to normal .
