Is this only for UK and South Africa now? The 23 countries ban was in September and they just said that the ban is lifted from 1 Jan onwards?

At present, entry for new students is still on hold. Only existing students not from the banned 23 countries are allowed entry into Malaysia.

We understand your predicament. However, the decision to allow new students into Malaysia is solely at the discretion of the Malaysian government. We will only be able to advise once there is an update on this matter.

GOVT Declared that international sudents are banned till dec 31 ! They never said they will allow form jan so wait for news

Hi Akun,
At present, only existing students not from the 23 banned countries is allowed entry into Malaysia. Entry for existing students from the banned countries along with new students are still on hold. We will notify students and institutions once there is an update on this matter.

Hi Akun,
We are unable to confirm the entry procedures for 2021. However, at present, existing international students who are outside of Malaysia are eligible to return.

How they are eligible to return to Malaysia if all airline companies are not informed yest with last immigration updates..?
