Can you tell me the documents that you lack so that I can expedite my university to send them to you?

As I understood from your case, what’s missing is that the university is the one who should notify emgs about the change of passport and send a copy of the new one and ask for eval edit.
So keep contact with your university about this and if they say they already sent then ask for the case number to follow up with emgs using this number.
