As I understood from your case, what’s missing is that the university is the one who should notify emgs about the change of passport and send a copy of the new one and ask for eval edit.
So keep contact with your university about this and if they say they already sent then ask for the case number to follow up with emgs using this number.

Hello sir, my university has applied to me for a visa, and the percentage has reached 70%. Before I travel, I lost my passport And I informed my university of this and asked me to obtain a new passport with a report from the police department.
