Hi all,
I need some confirmation on my questions to travel to Malaysia from india and they are,
I got travel Authorization letter, SEV, flight tickets, insurance, vaccination certificate. So from all these documents can i travel to Malaysia now or do i need more stuffs to do?

I’m from india and i’ll be traveling to Malaysia by 12th of December and i have seen on mysafetravel official website that if I’m vaccinated then I’m required for 7days quarantine? you can apply for home quarantine if u have a place of residence in malaysia

Yah i got one residence which is sharing room so is it available for home qurantine?

if ur sharing ur room with someone then i feel like they might reject it because if ur positive, they might get infected too. u can try to apply 7 days before your flight, if they do reject, then u can make payment for quarantine. 150rm/day for hotel and 250rm for covid tests, u can check emgs news bulletin for more info

Try calling EMGS thier hotline works. They will be able to help you

Thats easy, just email EMGS to cancel your previous Travel Authorization therefore you will able to apply new Travel Authorization then you can come to malaysia

Hi Saif,
Once you have received your VAL, if you are from a country that requires SEV, you will be required to obtain the SEV. Furthermore, once your VAL is approved, you will also be able to download the travel authorization letter. Upon receiving the travel authorization letter, you are required to obtain the entry permit. The link you have provided me i have gone through it but in existing student column it’s not written that i need to obtain single entry visa just travel Authorization letter and travel notice.
I have seen in new students pre arrival process it’s written that they need SEV if a country need as a proof.

My student pass is already expired on October 2020 but the region I’m in is eastern part of india so i need SEV, and I don’t know for what reason the
malaysia embassy in eastern region is closed.
Please help me as i need to return back to Malaysia before 20th of april

I’m studying in sunway University for past 2 year’s so as I’m an existing student from India do i need single entry visa (sev) and eval to enter malaysia? Or i can just use travel Authorization letter and travel notice to enter in Malaysia?

Hi Saif,
Your institution opted to obtain the Student Pass at the state Immigration Department. As such, your passport was not submitted to EMGS. Kindly follow-up with your institution directly for details on the status of your passport.
