hello EMGS, I got a notification from EMGS that for managing my student pass I have to submit my passport, personal bond, medical screening. but when I read the important notes, the institution must submit it. Is the student pass arranged when I am in my country or when I arrive in Malaysia? View

      Hi Adib,

      The Student Pass endorsement process is done upon your arrival in Malaysia. Your institution will provide you with more details once you arrive.

    Assalamualaikum,

    My VAL is still 10% because previously my VAL was rejected. while I have to register to UPM from 28 January to 7 February. if I calculate my VAL will be late, so that it can delay my entry into UPM, i just want to ask, is there another way to speed up my VAL process so that it can be fast?       Hi Adib,

      The processing of VAL applications takes approximately 14 working days, provided that there are no additional documents required. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.

    I have problem with the payment that is EMGS receive RM1,617.39 but it should be RM1.617.40, let me tell you first the story.       The payment made should tally with the payment quoted for the application. As such, you are required to make the additional payment and submit the proof of payment to your institution. We can only initiate the processing of your application upon receipt of the full payment. Kindly refer to your institution for further assistance.

    Hello EMGS, I chose payment through an institution but there is no indication on the EMGS website where should I transfer it? and what is the account and bank number? Your answer will be very helpful

      Dear frined, i also did the same mistake last month but then paying through institution is little bit difficult as it involves assistance from your host university. Now u can either initiate discussion with ur university about how/where to transfer money or else u can ask EMGS to cancel ur present application and submit new afresh. Hope this helps…[Read more]

        And yes indeed your university has to cancel your present application if u want to make payment by another mode…..being an applicant this entire scene seems like a nightmare. EMGS and the associated universities should seriously think about bringing change in this flaw…

              Thanks for the information but how can I download my VAL ? I mean there’s no link in the notification section of my mobile app…..some one plz comment

      Hi Adib,

      You are required to contact your institution in order to obtain the bank account details. The payment can be transferred in the account given to you by your institution, and the institution will proceed to submit the payment to us on your behalf.
