I also applied for eVisa on 1st October but the website is down. Should we wait or can we apply directly at embassy

Hello,
Does embassy request for any document after applying for eVisa?

Adam Adam Abdullahi posted an update 4 years ago

Hello. Nigerians how long does it take to get Eligibility letter from ministry of education as well as SEV

okeibunor stanley replied 4 years ago

For the eligibility you can get within a day to 5days. But for the SEV, embassy will give you visa collection slip and in it the pickup date will be written there, usually 8 working days. You that’s if you meet all the requirements

Please have you received your eVal?

Not yet. EMGS just received Declaration of accommodation from my university today so now it’s at 35% green. Hopefully by two weeks time, I want to arrive in time for orientation

Contact your institution. It might be that there is a mistake in the information provided on the declaration of accommodation e.g wrong passport number.
Another scenario is that the issue might not be related to your declaration of accommodation. But contact your institution for clarification.

It will still show 35%. Then it will later move to 70

Thanks. Then I guess only the text in the status will change when it is forwarded to Immigration retaining the 35% mark

Thanks. What percentage is shown then? Many people are saying that from 35%,0it goes directly to 70% when eVal is issued.
