Is th progress status green or yellow? Does it say that emgs is waiting for additional documents?

Hi Abubakr,
We are in the midst of processing the application. The application status will be updated once the vetting of the documents has been completed. However, the approval to issue the VAL is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.

In my experience, it takes 14 working days. What you need to do is to watch for the progress of application everyday. If there is a missing document, the entire process will be frozen and you will need to act quickly.

The processing of a VAL application takes 14 working days. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.

I think there must be a solution for this like maybe no need to return to ur country. You can get everything done while your located in Malaysia
Get a release letter from your current institute and new offer letter from your new institute and give the new offer letter to your current institute and your release letter to your new institute! Hi Abubakr Karimov,
Your current institution will be required to shorten your Student Pass. Then a new application can be submitted to us. You can remain in the country while the new Student Pass application is being processed as long as you have a valid pass.
