I am writing to request your guidance regarding my upcoming application for a Master’s degree at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. I have noticed a discrepancy in my date of birth: my international passport indicates *12/02/2001*, while my academic transcript records it as *12/02/2000*.

I would appreciate your advice on the appropriate steps to rectify this issue in order to prevent any delays in my visa processing. I am a Nigerian applicant.
