Hi EMGS,

I had an offer letter from IIUM for their MBA during the janurary intake of 2026, however due to the middle east war and since i was from iraq by the time i got my E-val i couldn’t come to IIUM on time due to airspace shutdown so i defered my semester to september, i have my documents submitted however there is a problem with my offer letter as the name on the letter does not match the name in my passport.

When i contacted IIUM, they said they can only change the name on the deferment letter and not the offer letter, would that be sufficient or do i need the name to be changed on the original offer letter itself? Because IIUM insist they cannot change the name on my offer letter to match that of my passport.
