My friend contacted EMGS today asking about his VAL from Nottingham. Apparently Nottingham has not renewed the license required to accept international students into their university. My application is at 30% and is yellow for the past three weeks. Anyone else applying there have a similar problem?

Well yesterday I received approval of VAL. TOMORROW I might get it. My classes started on 11th. My visa process was delayed.

I didn’t apply to Nottingham. I’ve helped a few of my relatives to apply (most recently was SeGi) so I’m familiar with the process. Also, there’s a calculator on EMGS website if you want to be sure:

Sounds like Nottingham is charging you for the honor of applying forbthe Visa on your behalf. The 100RM fee is not from EMGS
