I’m currently dealing with the consequences of the same problem. I paid tuitions to the university two months before my visa expiry date. Yet, university took 25 days to create my renewal account and another 50 days to submit docs and fees. This is the most tiring process i have heard of! Two months for a special pass? Ridiculous!

Special Pass doesn’t take 2 months. 2-4 days maximum. Think about it: Why would Immigration keep you waiting for a special pass for the same amount of time it would take to give you a new student pass?

I didnt only think about it.. i am experiencing it.. and it’s literally one month now.. so don’t tell me it only takes 2-4 days!

Bro, I’m not arguing about how long you’ve been waiting for your uni to finish their internal processing like what you said in your first post (It’s happened to all of us) I’m just saying Immigration doesn’t take 2 MONTHS just to process a special pass. Your uni is the one who told you 2 months- did you check with Immigration?
