Hello, this is exactly my situation. It has been like this since 21st of July and I tried contacting my university ever since. No reply. Any suggestions what could I do?

Hi @patricijakad, any progress with your application? Did your University reply? You can call EMGS and confirm that the VAL was collected (or email them so you can forward their answer to your University)

4 days or 4 Working days? EMGS doesn’t work on the Weekend (Sat – Sun). Just be patient, if there’s no issues (the tracker is still showing green) then just give it some time. The process takes around 3 weeks to 1 month to get the VAL

Single entry visa. Basically it’s what you need in order to enter Malaysia as a student but first you mudt obtain VAL in order to be able to obtain a SEV on your passport from a Malaysian embassy.

VAL is an approval for your student visa, you need SEV to enter malaysia, in order to get SEV you need to apply for it using your VAL, Basically you take your visa approval letter to the malaysian embassy along with the other documents and apply for a single entry visa

Find out if Malaysia requires a SEV from your country. I never applied 4 one.In malaysia now

No, You need a VAL in order to apply for a SEV.
So you can get your SEV after you have received your VAL.

On 70% you will receive your VAL inshallah then you have to go to the Malaysian embassy in your country and they will tell you about the requirement documents to take the visa and the process will take at least a week the you will be able to travel to malaysia

No, You need a VAL in order to apply for a SEV.
So you can get your SEV after you have received your VAL.
