Respected Officer, I am currently cancelling my Master Visa to pursue for a new PhD Visa. i have submitted my passport to UPM (where I took my Master), i have received my offer letter to PhD from IIUM and the enrollment date is on march 17. Hi Aaliah Rafee,
It is advisable to apply for an eVAL application for a PhD Visa after the cancellation of your Master Visa. This is to avoid complications for your application in the future. We also recommend you apply after you exit from Malaysia.

You may apply for a progression visa as long as your current student pass is still valid. You are required to liaise with the new institute to assist you in applying.

Thank you for the reply respected officer! I have liased with the new instituition (IIUM) however, I was asked to deal with EMGS directly, may I know what will be the required documents for a progression Visa?

There are no specific requirements for the details in the release completion letter. You may liaise with the previous institution to obtain the letter and request your current institute to upload the document in the system.
