Dear EMGS officials,
I have applied the renewal of my student pass. Now you required me to submit the passport but I cannot come into Malaysia in January. I can only come in February. My current student pass will be expired on 25th January. So my questions are: Can I submit my passport in February? And Can I come into Malaysia as a student pass holder or I can only come as a tourist? So need I prepare the
documents needed by a tourist for Malaysian custom to check when I arrived at the KL international airport? If so, could you please provide a list of documents for people who want to get in Malaysia as a tourist so that I can prepare them before I plan to go. Thank you. Looking forward to your early reply.

  Hi. Please be informed that international students are required to re-enter Malaysia before the student pass expires in order to proceed with student visa renewal. You can come to Malaysia as long as you have a valid student pass. You may liaise with your institution for further clarification. Thank you. Have a good day.
