We are glad to inform you that your dependants may travel together with you to Malaysia. While you enter Malaysia with your eVAL and SEV, your dependants, on the other hand, will need to enter Malaysia on a social pass (tourist visa). Once you enter Malaysia altogether, kindly refer to your institution and request them to submit a dependent pass application for each of your dependents.

We will first process the sticker endorsement of your student pass in your passport. Once your student pass is stamped on your passport, we will request your dependants’ passports to issue the dependant passes.

The approval of VAL and the issuance of a student/dependent pass take place at the sole discretion of the Immigration Department.
