I understand the validity of eVAL is 6 months and within 6 Months I have to obtain Single Entry Visa. The Single Entry Visa is valid for 3 months. So does it work if I enter Malaysia within the validity of my Single Entry Visa and once I am in Malaysia, I start the process of student pass.

What is not clear to me is if my single entry visa is valid for 3 months, that means I should be able to enter Malaysia within that time frame i.e before expiry of Single Entry Visa.

My eVal is expiring on 8th March 2026 and I have applied for Single Entry visa and I think it should come within a week but I can only travel in the 2nd week of March i.e after 8th March.

Is that fine or not?

  The EVAL is valid for six months from issuance, but it does not extend beyond its expiration date. If you have applied for a single-entry visa and it arrives before your intended travel date, ensure that both documents are valid upon arrival.
