Hello,

I need to withdraw from school due to a sudden family emergency. But my school told me I have to cancel my student visa, and this will take 14 days.

I want to know if I can send my passport to a friend after I return to my home country, so they can handle the visa cancellation for me.

My passport will expire in February 2026. And I need at least 3 months in my home country to deal with the family emergency, so I can’t handle the visa cancellation myself.

  Kindly be informed that the student is required to make a proper cancellation before exit from Malaysia. Kindly note, student must be present in Malaysia for the cancellation process.
